Plan a school visit at Tewkesbury Nature Reserve to get your class outside and connecting with the natural world! Aiming to inspire a future generation of eco-stewards and enhance nature connectedness and wellbeing, this outdoor learning programme was developed by a qualified teacher as part of our Green Lung project.

The Green Lung Project has now ended, but self-guided visits are still encouraged and there may be some availability for workshops led by TNR representatives and/or borrowing of equipment, so please do still get in touch if you are interested. We are also actively applying for funding so we are hopeful we will be able to continue our successful school visits programme.

This programme includes hands-on national curriculum aligned school visit workshops, research project opportunities, custom art and photography projects, a forest school and potential for tailored alternative provision projects. It also featured workshop collaborations held by The John Moore Museum to increase local heritage knowledge. These workshops are still available but sadly now the Green Lung Project has ended they are no longer be funded by us.
